Resource Spotlight: BrightLife Kids
Happy June, Help Me Grow Solano families!
This June, we are celebrating National Children’s Day on June 9th by spotlighting an amazing new resource, BrightLife Kids!
Available for any California resident with a child under the age of 12, this resource provides free virtual coaching to parents and children seeking behavioral and mental health support.
There is absolutely no cost attached or insurance required, and parents can access the program via app or browser.
Parents can sign up to get started at any time, no referral necessary! To join, visit this link: BrightLife Kids – A CalHope Program by Brightline (hellobrightline.com)
From there, you will complete a 90 second questionnaire to assess your needs and the topics you would like to focus on. You will have immediate access to a variety of on demand-content, while the program works to match you with a coach. This process can take a maximum of 2 weeks, but most families are matched within just a few days.
Their certified coaches will meet with you an unlimited number of times, typically on a weekly basis, to provide guidance and support for you and your child. If more in-depth services are needed, care coordinators can also assist with providing referrals to local resources.
